Vision
Grande Réserve · Alcohol-free
Handcrafted precision combined with culinary maturity — composed for the highest expectations.
Culinary role
The Grande Réserve accompanies aperitifs, menus and demanding dishes without ever dominating. It brings structure, freshness, grip and length — while remaining calm, elegant and present.
For sommeliers, fine dining and upscale hospitality: an accompaniment that holds its own in a menu like a great sparkling wine.
Craft
It begins with a carefully selected, high-quality base wine — the foundation on which the cuvée’s depth and structure are built.
Every bottle undergoes traditional in-bottle fermentation — craftsmanship without shortcuts, just as with great sparkling wines.
The cuvée matures on the lees for over 30 months. This long ageing gives it fine brioche notes and a creamy texture — maturity you can taste.
The alcohol is gently removed — structure, clarity and tension are fully preserved.
Structuring components and aged Grand Cru Champagne interlock — the final signature of Maison Geiger.
Refinement
Not as a prestige ingredient, but as a craftsman’s tool: aged Grand Cru Champagne lends the Grande Réserve complexity, depth and inner calm.
A 2012 vintage Champagne of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, grown across seven Grand Cru villages of Champagne. It matured nine years on the lees and was disgorged in December 2022 with 9 g/l residual sugar — time that cannot be shortened.
Ripe fruit, honey, toasted nuts and brioche, carried by a gently spiced note.
Profound, structured and generous, with pleasant freshness and vinosity. The finish stays long and complex, with accents of caramel, quince and candyfloss.
Fine-beaded and lively — characteristic of Grand Cru Champagne.
“Complexity does not come from names — but from maturity, time and precision.”
Tasting
Dried pear and yellow apple open the bouquet, complemented by white blossoms. Behind them, fine brioche notes from the long lees ageing, carried by elegant herbal freshness and a salty, chalky minerality.
Dry and taut on the attack, fine-beaded and creamy at once. Integrated bitter notes and a delicate leaf-and-tea structure lend length, tension and a long finish.
Pairing
Dry, taut and mineral — the Grande Réserve pairs with:
Aperitif and fine starters
Shellfish and light fish dishes
Poultry and creamy sauces
Vegetarian dishes with herbs, mushroom dishes
Aged cheese
